Reflexology
Reflexology is a holistic practice that focuses on the principles of how reflexes within the feet and hands correspond to every organ, gland, and limb of the body. Its origins are unknown, but there is evidence in the hieroglyphics found within the pyramids that ancient Egyptians practiced what we now call reflexology.
Benefits of reflexology include:
Deep relaxation/meditation
Pain management (arthritis, DJD, fibromyalgia)
Increased circulation
Improved nerve and blood supply
Possible reduction in blood pressure
Possible constipation relief
Possible acid reflux relief
Decreased inflammation
Balanced hormones
Reduction of stress, anxiety & depression
Reflexology can be beneficial for a variety of circumstances ranging from full body relaxation to more focused healing customized to your needs.
